- not surprised at all about Stamkos. Always thought he would stay in Tampa. But damn, they are going to be a FORCE this upcoming season with Drouin now added to the mix.
- not surprised the Sabres didn't get him. Very happy the Leafs didn't get him.
- Stammer contract at $8.5 million should bring down the overall UFA market for Backes, Okposo etc. This is good news
- Weber for Subban - crazy deal. Not sure who "won" that one. Both have pros/cons
- Hall for Larson in NH. As somebody else said, the Edmonton fans have been "Chiarellied". I thought Benning in Vancouver was the worst GM. Not anymore.
- For the Sabres, this raises the ante on trying to sign Jimmy V on July 1st. We really need him as part of our top 6 moving forward.
- My bet is that GMTM switches gears and focuses on Okposo and maybe Fowler

I don't agree that this drives Okposo and Backes contract down, they are now the big dog that's are available instead of playing second fiddle to Stamkos
