Ya know I'm sure I'm in the minority and I know he played very well last year but I'm not sold on giving him a bigger contract and honestly his rebound control at times really scares me. he played awesome in some of the games and others I was not really impressed. Just me though.

That's fair enough. And yeah his rebound control can be a bit frightening at times, but his year end numbers indicate a starting level goalie and that was on the 23rd ranked team. I think we lose him because he's going to want low end starting money at least and that's around $3.5M+ which he's worth, but not for us.

That Hall deal was really bad for the Oilers, sad we couldn't have pulled that one off.

Yes and no.

It would have been awesome to have him here. Especially with the young core.
But the 12mm cap number was very troubling.
