Forwards peak at 25-28...30 is when they really start to decline. Why in the frank would we give big dollar and term to aging wingers who will never reproduce their previous numbers. If Stamkos was a couple years older I wouldn't even want to throw all of this money at him. Stick with the youth movement. Bring on veterans on veteran salaries.

Not saying we have a better chance, but I want to believe Steven is the type that values his legacy. He wants to win a cup before he's 30. I think Tampa and Buffalo are in a better position to offer that.
