Wasting time on hockeybuzz.com @ 6:42 pm on Saturday 7-22-17

Just spent 2.5 hours mowing and whipper snipping my Sister in laws lawn, Then I pulled all the weeds out of her flower bed, trimmed her bush(lol) and pressure washed her front step and door area in preparation for my nephews bday party on Saturday.

All of this during an air quality warning as tons of smoke from the BC wildfire have settled over the Edmonton area.

There better be a few cold beers in my immediate future.

every time i go to the store i talk myself out of a bunch of things i had on my list so that i can go through the express checkout or the self checkout. i convince myself i can go another week without certain things just to save some time (time that i will turn around and use sitting on hockeybuzz talking to a bunch of idiots)

and every time when i get home i realize that every item i skipped should have been at the top of the list because i am almost completely out of them.

i never learn.

last week i bought a medium sized can for recyclables in the kitchen but didn't think about the fact that i wouldn't have bags that size at home.

so i knew all week that i needed those bags but once i went i did a bunch of shopping and never even thought about the bags. they never even made it onto the list to be skipped.

and i'm pretty sure i stood in that aisle for like 10 seconds and then said to myself "nope, nothing from this aisle"

also (frank) you if you ask for a napkin in this house this week.
