The context that started this was why is everyone pitching a tent over possibly trading for Lande when Okposo only costs cap for the same or more output....
I agree with you though if any of those guys can be grabbed for a good price, do it. - Phatjohnsn
I would love Landeskog here but I think the Colorado rumors are bogus. |

Pts/60 for one player vs pts/60 for another player. Can't get much more straightforward than that. Lol |

He was playing top 6 minutes with that team and shouldn't have been. Also goal scoring was up in the few years he scored 20 compared to now. Not saying he was awful but I just don't think we need to get another 3rd liner - Phatjohnsn
I have to disagree hecht was awesome he did the little things that mattered and very consistent .. Why shouldn't he have been playing top six minutes ?
The lines we had back in the day were just perfect..

Fair enough. I get the age thing too. But I still don't see why Colorado would deal Lande. I almost feel like he's an untouchable there. |

I would normally agree but it was TSN that tweeted he was going on their rumor board that sparked the wildfire today. |

True but having him and Ryan O'Reilly those two would be the hardest workers to play against On one line |

I cannot
Grabner and Moulson were both traded weren't they? Okposo walked. Who else am I missing?
They also know they have one of the deepest prospect pools for wingers in the NHL so maybe they know they don't need to overpay wingers? |

If they bring in Ladd to replace Okposo that's probably not a great idea |

It can if one player plays heavy minutes and the other doesn't. We all know Risto is knocking on the door of being an elite level offensive defenseman. He was 24th in defensemen scoring last year, but his hero chart sucks. They have him at a low 2nd pairing. How does 24th in scoring jive with low 2nd pairing scoring wise? Because they're all per 60.

It doesn't take into effect when the ice time occurs, PP, PK. Offensive zone starts defensive zone starts, ice time when ahead, behind, tied. All that poop affects a players stats, and when you boil it all down to well this guy has more points per 60 minutes of ice time. It cheapens the whole thing. |
