See this is where I don't get your rationale.

A guy that was an Assistant GM that liked a player from his earlier days as a scout is absolutely going to like that guy when he becomes a GM. It doesn't just turn off because he works for a different team.

Take ROR for example. Murray liked him when he was the Assistant GM for Ottawa. He was able to trade for him in Buffalo. Should he have not wanted to trade for him because he liked the player when he was working for a different organization?

Now if he greatly overpays then you have a beef but getting on a GM for liking players from organizations he's worked at in the past is kind of counterproductive if you ask me.

I'd like McGinn back at a reasonable price.... Plus it just means Yotes have interest. I think Sabres pro pic change by him wasn't done on accident. Just saying..

I can't answer for everyone, but for me I think they had a lot of chemistry, seem to be relentless workers given what I've read about the O'Reilly practices and the below link doesn't hurt my persuasion either. Some how passed it behind the net like a wizard. That kid is friggin good.

McGinn was great for the Ducks.

He is not who I want in the top 6. As long as it's not over 4 million and over 4 years I can deal with it but he's not my first choice to add for a 3rd liner. I would rather add Stempniak.

I also don't understand the Okposo hate. If it's because salary or term that I can understand but not him as a player. He isn't the ideal top line RWer but he is clearly a top 6 winger. I would not go more than 6 years at $6 million for him.

Sign Vesey. That needs to be the first signing announced tomorrow!

I really do not want Okposo. I do not think he skates well enough and hes never hit thirty goals even playing with Johnny T. I think he'll get extremely overpaid because stamkos re-signed. I would steer clear of Okposo unless you can get the term down to 3-4 years.

Im not just talking this season. For some odd reason ive actually watched a decent number of isles games and I just dont see him being the right fit in Buffalo.
