Yeah, you're right a guy who had a 32, 36 and 43 goal seasons, and a guy who for his entire 10 career before this year he never failed to hit at least 20 goals(his lowest yearly total which came in only 38 games in 12-13) wasn't a star. Get a grip dude. Sure, he looked like he was skating through wet concrete and always looked like he was poopting his pants, but the mother(frank)er could score goals.

If the Sabres get those 3 players, you'll be the only Sabres fan on earth whose expectation isn't the playoffs

It isn't a great top 6, but I don't see where we're going to get better unless we move out some serious assets in a trade.

I don't think we have the assets to upgrade the defense and offense. And at this point defense should take priority.

I think the defense is pretty much set and any adding you do would be similar to the pysyk trade in that youre only upgrading, not adding a guy. I have to believe the focus of GMTM is entirely on the top 6. Sign Vesey and go out and get duchene, Landeskog, or Eberle.

Honestly I dont think our forwards were the reason we didnt get to the cup. I had season tickets that year and having to watch Janik and Jillson play top four minutes was torture. Injuries on the back end killed us.

Very claustrophobic And Doug Janik came on the ice and I was like who's this (frank)ing guy? That was the beginning of the end. They started dropping like flies after that.

I agree with ASU Stamkos broke the market. He also was never a UFA which does make a difference.

I think Okposo obviously adds some scoring but i think he makes us a slower team. I really have issues with the guys skating and play style, while I love how eberle and Landeskog play, not as much Duchene.
