BUT....

I'm not a huge fan of the fact that his name has now been linked to not so great incidents twice in just over a year.

Whether they're accurate or not, I'd prefer if he learned how to keep himself from something like this even being a possibility.

Well, I think my preferred option would be to keep him around for a year and serve him on a silver platter to Vegas. I didn't even start on the stupid penalties he takes on a routine basis. Nothing like going back to the box after you just got out.

So you want to lose him for nothing. That's just poor asset management. At least the one guy wanted to do Kane for Yak which is close to nothing but still at least there's a player coming back. What do we gain by him going to Vegas? He falls off the cap. What does that get us? Is his one year at 5M (by the time expansion draft happens) stopping us from signing anyone because I don't think it does.

You want to get rid of him, fine, but don't just lose an asset for nothing just because you have a problem with the person.
