seems fairly reasonable (especially the term) - do you think the Canucks should have done that deal? (you have to figure he would have given a home town discount, so let's just say that it would have ended up at $3 million per year. Is that fair value? (Sbisa type money). I have to say, I'm sorry to see Hamhuis go, I think he definitely has enough in the tank for another couple of years at least. A class act all the way

Hard to say. He was brutal for 3/4 of the season and finished with a strong 10 games. Who knows what he has left. Either way, I'll embrace the change

We have 4 mil in cap space. I say we stay pat on big signings(unless boedker will sign for less than 4) and sign some depth players for Utica. We also have a defenseman that will need 1-2mil for 1 year.
