I think we should try to trade Sbisa for either Kane or Yakupov. Both could revitalize here. Kane if management thinks they can get him to stop(or at least tone down) his off ice crap, Yakupov if they can't. Yak is soft, sure. But so is Rodin and Yak has more talent than Rodin ever will. With Guddy/Tryamkin out with Yak, we have the toughness to protect him, and Hansen/Sutter could play well with him. |

Who cares about the KHL Radulov went AWOL on Nashville in the 2012 playoffs who got suspended one game then by he team for staying put at the casino late during the playoffs. He's got talent but he's a headcase and how do you think the other guys on Mtl feel about this guy coming in who has a reputation and getting paid more than they are already. Berger's job is on the line if this doesn't work out. - allsports
lots of people care about the KHL - people grow up - it was 5 years ago and he had a decent playoffs that year despite losing at the casino
and i'd say they're pumped to get him considering he's a great player who puts up a ton of pts. |

So why don't we use another example, guess who scored the most points in the KHL last season? Cam Barker, the former 4th overall pick who couldn't make it in the NHL but can be the best dman in the KHL? Players can look great in a substandard league you can ask those ex NHLers about how good a league it is.

Maybe he got tired of being held back offensively and not getting paid. He's gotten married and had a kid since then, been an mvp twice in khl, been captain, top player on team Russia in Olympics,... I'd say he's matured since the Nashville days. Not to mention he'll be playing in hockey mecca Montreal.

That is easily the best case scenario but I can think of a dozen others that I think have more credibility.
But I do think people should be sending in their CVs for a GM job in Montreal. |

You have it backwards. When you get married and have kids you go to the casinos and bars even more, not less |

The guy is in his prime. Scores at every level, and is legit top 6 winger, if not top line.
If Montreal somehow secured Yakupov, look out. |

I guess what I am saying is that you are giving him every benefit of every doubt... is that based solely on getting married and having a child?
