MTL officially worse run club in the league. 1st the Weber deal, now they sign Radulov for $5.7!!!!! Didnt Semin teach them anything last year? - sammy87
Maybe you should become a Habs fan since you love being miserable so much. |

Shultz is a RHD, Pouliot is a LHD
Dumoulin Letang
Maatta Shultz
Pouliot Daley
Cole - Dcoms
Cole isn't coming out of the lineup and he shouldn't, he more than proved himself in the 2nd half of the season. If what you listed above is the roster either Pouliot or Shultz will be the player in the pressbox which makes little sense for the Pens or for Shultz/Pouliot.

Vasilevsky gets 3.5M per 3. That's about what I'd expect Murray to get if they want to do a deak now. Could be more costly if they wait. |

I thought the reports I read said that no NHL team was willing to meet his contract demands so he was returning to the KHL, don't recall anything saying he actually signed just that he was returning.

The Pens are not going to pick any higher echelon FAs. Gonna stand pat and see what happens at Trade Deadline. They can afford it after the Cup |

Isn't it a one year deal? Guy has potential and if you have the cap its low risks. I'd rather do 1 year of radulov at 5.7 then take on a andrew ladd contract for 7 years. |

3 years for 3.5 per. Hopefully that's what Murray does |

Three years, 3.5 is a good deal for Tampa. That is what I expect Murray to get. |

Can't believe they have him that much. Also can't believe they let okposo go pretty much for ladd |

He has the potential to ruin a coach too. He is a high risk kid to me ... lots of talent, but lots of BS that comes with it. |

I don't think Stempiak is as insanely cheap as others do.
He's been underpaid in the past.
last year was a career year. $2.5 is cheap for last years performance. I'd say for his long-term performance he's a good bottom 6 guy and 2.5 is about fair. |

Speaking of Okposo, I think Buffalo is one Ennis for Shattenkirk deal away from being a legit force in the East. |

Still ... 7 years $42mil for Lucic ... What the frank?!?!
How much is that per cheap shot?
Although, there probably aren't enough strip clubs in EDM to get him in trouble. |

I think the people still throwing out names of Dmen the Pens should consider are going to be sadly disappointed, GMJR has already made his intentions with the D very clear, Pouiot is going to get the #6 spot and is going to be given every chance to prove himself, which is the right move, guys like Shultz, Russell and Demers aren't signing with the Pens to be the #7 guy and to sit in the pressbox waiting to see if Pouliot cuts it or not, GMJR knows this which is why he loaded up on insurance policies that can start the season in WBS. Pouliotis the guy right now, but if the right guy is available they could send him back to the minors. But I'd agree they likely can't afford a guy who I'd rather see over giving Pouliot a shot. He wasn't playing poorly before they added other guys. I would prefer Schultz, just don't expect it. |

If the guy is a right handed shot they would actually be looking to beat out Cole playing on his off side, not necessarily Pouliot. But yes it is good that are finally going to build Pouliots confidence up by actually backing him this year. |

He had a wide open roster spot last year too... DP should be fine this year but if he flounders with only Warsofsky behind him on the chart he's done. |
