Well scratch McGinn off the list sounds like Chi is going to throw big money at him to possibly play with Toews.
Also is rumors are bishop to TO and possibly Crawford to Buff why couldn't we try to send MAF to one of those teams for assets and picks? Then sign a backup like Enroth for a mil... |

Now that they have McJesus, i don't feel bad for them. It's going to be hilarious to watch them ruin his career. - cap1681

I don't know what's going on with pirri but if he's real cheap I'd take a flyer. - dbell646
Pirri is a power play specialist, he is not beating out Crosby or Malkin.
Cullen is the only UFA forward we will sign. On defense Rutherford is going to wait, as he should, for the chips to fall and the prices to return to normalcy before he makes any moves. |

whoa, Helm got overpaid. Nice player in the $2-2.5M range. Nice player, I like him a lot..but not worth Kunitz money, imo. |

Jaeckel wrote in his blog he heard the Crawford rumor
And of course the bishop to TO is an ek rumor...
I'm just saying you think if there were truth to it that JR could do a deal with either team.
I know DB would love him some flower power lol |

Fleury wouldn't waive for either of those teams imo |

I could see him waiving for Buffalo. Good, young team and HCDB. |

What if Murray plays 25-30 games and has average numbers. . . . then next summer Vegas doesn't take him because of his mediocre season....
Maybe that is why Fleury isn't being shopped as much as some people want. |

Exactly! Especially bc Lehner is there starter. They can add flower and give us back either of their 2nds and either Foligano or Girgensons and we can call it a day |

My thoughts are keep him until trade deadline to get the best return from a bubble team |

That Bishop and TO is laughable.
I still say MAF to Dallas. If you believe what Mark Madden says... Bylsma doesn't like MAF. |

Personally I would rather try Sheary, Wilson and Guentzel over Pirri. They are cheaper and already in the system. I like Pirri, he will be a good addition wherever he goes. I just don't like him here, we have enough young guys to see how they develop. |

Ew, the thought of Lovejoy on the Caps
On second thought, I wouldnt mind them combining 9 million dollars per year into Lovejoy and Orpik...in a way that helps the Penguins lol. |

So they trade Subban, partly due to character issuses, and sign Radulov??? |

I agree. Dont see a lot of difference in quality there.
I remember last year people freaked out on me cause I wasn't willing to trade Pouliot and/or other prime assets for Pirri. All anyone could mention was young, 20 goal scorer....funny how much of a difference a year makes. |
