About 11m but still have to sign risto, foligno and girgs. So after those three not too much. Means there should be a trade coming - turbo044
Foligno and Girgs get 2 each, Risto gets 5. General Fanager has a few guys that aren't in the NHL counting, so we really have about 13-14. That means we have 4-5M left. |

Sure. And that GM never works with you again and other GM's dislike you as well.
I'm with you that I wish it would happen but history shows that it doesn't happen and this year is no different. I'll bet money that there's no dam break of offer sheets this year. |

How about a 1 year deal for Scrivens...I know I know its Scrivens - doppelthat
IF you knew you wouldn't have said it! Just kidding.
We need a backup, but I'd take a pylon over Scrivens. At least the pylon doesn't carry a cap hit. |

Exactly. Truth be told (not that it affects the terrible Canadian teams) the salary cap should be after tax, not before |

The NHL should implement something to even out the state tax, if you think about it, its not really fair to have people signing for 3-4 million less and making the same amount of money. |

I don't wanna just sign him, I wanna keep him - jdfitz77
Do they have the cap room?
They have to save money for Drouin and Johnson and Filpula. |

Over the past three seasons, no 2016 free agent forward has put up more points.
That certainly comes, at least in part, as a result of skating alongside John Tavares with the Islanders, but Okposo didn't play exclusively with Tavares (mroe with Frans Nielsen last season) and going to Buffalo, where they have Jack Eichel and Ryan O’Reilly down the middle, isn’t going to leave Okposo without a quality playmaking centre.

He also has to agree to the offer sheet. Kucherov might want to stay in Tampa since they have the best chance for a cup. |

One GM said that if someone offer sheeted one of his players he would offer sheet his one of his players every year for 10 years.

Filppula they'd def have to let go
Carle & Coburn, and maybe a few other guys would have to be traded too
Not that I wanna help them out,
But we could prob get Bishop for a 3rd
They need to move him badly |

These morons on the NHL network have talked about Okposo and the Sabres for about 1 minute, if he signed with the Red Wings they would never shut up about it. |
