I hope so. All things being equal, since his contract will be small and fixed, I would think that PSE has a lot offer other teams can't. Look at Harbor Center. Think about the Bills. Vesey and family will always have any Bills ticket they want, in a suite and likely at a catered, limo driven tailgate anytime they want. They can call ahead and get the family a room at Harbor Center for the game, in a connected building with great restaurants and shopping built in. How many other teams can offer that? They are a part of a sports empire. Toronto on the other hand has many tall glass structures for which to take sweet skyline pics to post on Instagram with. So there's that.

A few misses along the way but a nice crop of young players to build around. If we can add Fowler to the mix and get Vesey signed along with a quality back up goalie we're looking good.

I get the criticism that Kane brings because of his off-ice drama, but he is a pretty good hockey player (if he could work on that shot accuracy). I like Bogo, and don't understand the pounding that he takes on these boards. Every guy that Murray brings in isn't going to be the 2nd coming, but should make the team better, and both of those guys do.
Looks like a pretty good compilation to me Kaiser!

I get grief for yapping about Kane and what he doesn't bring to the table and yet it's year 2 and they are figuring out how to get him out of town.Wheres the Kane defender ? Would love to hear " it's only 2 run ins with the law and a missed practice for an NBA weekend".......and this is only what has gone public. 2 cent brain and the maturity of a 14 year old trust fund punk.

Vesey is the prize of the off season, I wanted him more that Stamkos. He's the perfect fit. It'll feel like a punch to the gut if he doesn't sign.

Think he has one more strike. I would be shocked if the organization moved him after what we gave up for him. If he does anything, and I mean anything that involves the police or something not professional(oversleeping practice) , he will be moved

I think the "one more strike". Is the best answer I've ever got on is page. In some ways I feel bad for the kid but if you had up his Winnipeg and Buffalo strikes it's closer to 20 strikes then 10.......he was essentially fired by his teammates here and Buffalo's player leadership will eventually have to vote him off Sabre island.

If he could harness that shot, he'd be an awesome player. I don't think that he'll ever be any good off the ice. He knew that Buffalo was his chance to redeem himself, and his image, and yet.....well. He's not good for the locker room, and with the team that Murray is building, and the image that Buffalo is building league wide, he needs to go. The problem is his stock is so low right now that it seems like he would be a trade deadline move.

They are going to have to package him with other pieces, and Colorado might be a good trading partner.

It might come down to moving Kane at the deadline or exposing him to the expansion draft. If either scenario happens we lose on that trade. Not the end of the world but it happens.
