Evander for Sutter? - 69Mach1
for Sbisa. He has a lot of off ice issues. But i think this is the team that could set him straight. being closer to family as well as his known respect for Linden/Willie. I would like to send Sbisa for either Kane or Yakupov to see if either can get back to form. would prefer either in our lineup to Rodin. |

He was good enough to talk Linden into signing him, but then again how smart do you have to be to sell sunglasses. |

Evanders in town. Cue the Sbisa trades. - VANTEL
Hmmm. Sbisa and Dorset plus torts 2nd?
Surround him with some Sedin support to direct him.
Could be a steal. |

I thought this was pretty funny, out of Montreal today. I bet all these GMs are running on very little sleep right about now.

in the interview 30 mins ago, Benning talks about adding a gritty winger who can score through trades and also keeping Burrows for his leadership. I think either Hansen or Dorsett will be traded. The only gritty winger I think Benning has has eyes on is Evander Kane |

Kane doesn't fit the kind of character JB would look for. The player himself would be a fit on the ice. Off it, probably not good. |

I saw another suggestion that Landeskog would fit his description. The Avs have been rumoured to be itching to make a 'culture-changing' deal. Let's stick with the Swedes! |

Eriksson: 30 goals, 33 assists, 63 points
Lucic: 20 goals, 35 assists, 55 points.
Lucic played with a powerhouse team while Eriksson played with a bad Bruins team yet he was able to pull off more points then Lucic and is one of the top scorers in the NHL at the age of 30.
Eriksson could be Jagr 2.0..........maybe..... - BeatStriker
Lucic is so much more than just the offensive totals he puts up . He's got great underlying numbers and is an absolutely bully all over the ice
It doesn't have to be you did awesome and the other guy blew it.
Both can be good signings for different reasons
And eriksson played on the pres trophy winning Bruins too |

Can someone help me understand what I am seeing at General Fanager? $36M in salary, $28M in signing bonuses. Can that be right? Is the $28 in addition to the $36 or part of it? Did Benning just open the Aqulini vault and say "please, help yourself!" |

It has something to with bypassing escrow fees for the player. |

That I get, plus signing bonuses are taxed at 15% as opposed out our regular income tax rate, but is he paid 36 + 28 or is the 28 part of the 36 |

36 total. 28 is bonus, front loaded, even though cap hit is the same. Most money paid in early yrs =buyout proof. |

The 28 is part of the 36.
It just structures the salary differently
It basically makes him buyout proof. |
