They're old quotes inserted into an article for today. It's highly misleading. - Mentalorgasm5
They aren't that old, days leading up to the start of FA. Of course he isn't and shouldn't say I'm ready to listen to what the Sabres have to say and if it sounds good, they are my team. He has to be coy even though he is going to get the max contract.
I don't know, if I was him I would be sick of the stress, the scrutiny, and questions about where I'm going to play and have to put up with it for another 6 weeks. |

So we aren't trying to sign him this is some sort of siege tactic?...I like it.
We can outlast him, boys! Scrutinize harder! |

Not your best article, but it wasn't bad. Just thought you could have given more stats or history or even more future outlook. - ASU_Sabres14

sorry - Michael Pachla
No need to apologize haha I was just trying to provide some constructive criticism. I read all your stuff and its normally very good, I just wanted to know more about Okposo's past and also where you saw him and the team years down the line. |

He has more recent quotes that sound like he wants to sign, so old as in outdated. |

Just read he's still going to free agency on August 15. He's sure gonna make it tough on the Sabres. - Carubba-Kaleta
Not sure about you guys, but I'm ready to move on, and find someone who wants to be here. He's played w/ Jack for 4 years. From a selfish standpoint, it seems like a perfect fit. He needs to analyze rosters after FA settles?????? We don't need a prima-donna. |

Im not ready to move on but I definitely agree with your points. I really hate what he did to Nashville even if it got him here. Also, what better situation could he ask for? To play in the top 6 on a line with your best friend and NHL superstar Eichel. You also get great and wealthy owners and a hockey-crazed city. If he doesnt sign here I say (frank) him, maybe he can see the cup when Eichel brings it to Boston. |

Yeah, but not really. Why does he need to go to free agency, unless he's waiting r Boston, or Toronto to offer him something. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops for him. |

I can just see a scenario where we wait it out till August 15, get stiffed, and still not have a real LW for Jack. I say overpay in a trade for Hoffman, and be done with it. |

To that I think we'll find out within the next few days what is going to happen. I was thinking to myself earlier and wondered if the Sabres would just make Vesey a FA if he says no to a deal. Just thought it would be weird for him to turn us down but still be a part of the team for another month and a half. |

No it really has been that long. And this isn't a standard ELC, with the draft and free agency, Murray and his agent might have not talked too much about the contract. |

The Boston article makes him sound like a momma's boy who wants to stay home, so mommy can see all of his games. I've heard of hockey players who leave home at 12 to pursue their hockey dreams. If moving 5hrs. away to play in a pretty perfect situation, in front of fans that will worship him, and not being that far from home is a difficult decision for him then....... |

Ya it was a pretty bad look for Vesey. Why did his dad have to come out and say he would let Jimmy decide for himself, wouldnt that just be obvious? What NHL player decides where to play because it is what their father wants??? Is he gunna play on a line with his dad and hit the bars with him after the games? Weirdo |

There really isn't much to talk about. No doubt the Sabres max his allowable contract out. I guess that I'm just really hot that he can't see what an ideal situation this is. I can only get to the assumption that he really only wants to stay at home, or in Toronto w/ daddy, in which case he should let us know, so we can pursue other opportunities before they dry up. |

Don't even process that article. That guy is a total Bruins homer. On his Twitter he has been saying for over a month that Vesey only wants Boston and he will sign there. This article is also from before yesterday when his agent said he looks forward to meeting with Buffalo and is open to anything. |

Yes there is, the bonuses are going to be very unique in this situation. Hence why I don't assume anything. |

Murray and his you must be this tall to start in goalie rule really pisses me off... Enroth is a solid reliable back up goalie who can step in when Lehnher inevitably gets hurt again... For a team that's trying to make the playoffs this year we're really putting all our eggs in a basket with holes in it.... |
