Landeslog's numbers aren't super crazy. He's a great player and high pick I get it but if Hall doesn't get you Risto neither does Landeslog.

I'd offer Bogosian, Girgensons Bailey and our 2017 1st for Landeslog and maybe a depth defenceman

1) Offer Sheet Risto all you want, we have the space to sign him no matter what. That statement is simply insulting. Let me ask if the Sabres did an offer sheet for McDavid, what would you do?
2) Trouba does not equal Risto.
3) It was rumored via multiple sources that Hall for Risto was discussed and turned down quickly by GMTM.
4) Landeskog does not get you Risto. The rebuttal of "well if it's not Risto it's not worth it" is not an excuse for why you are comparing the two. It is the equivalent of being mad at Pittsburgh for wanting McD back in exchange for Crosby and saying, "Well if Pittsburgh doesn't get McD then there is no reason they do it".
