I don't know if they will be better, what the chemistry will be like, how the new guys will adapt to the team's system. Can't be much worse than last year.
Radulov is a gamble, low risk, high reward, 1 yr term for a bit more money they I wished (it was July 1st, everyone gets overpaid). If he scores 25-30 and puts up 60-65 points and isn't a distraction to the rest of the team, it will be a fantastic signing. - Symba007
No risk at all when you think about it. Just money. 1 year is killer for the Habs. If Radulov is legit about coming back and starting his career back up, he will play lights out and earn a deal for next yea. |

In all honesty, how are the Habs better? Simply because they added Radulov? No troll, legit question. Is it simply because they added a guy who's capable of scoring 25 goals and 60 pts as opposed to not adding him? - weirdoh
Montreal is better because a combination of Weber, Radulov and Shaw is better than Subban and Eller... |

I hated the signing at 1st but the more i read about his accomplishments in the KHL and his performances playing for team russia the more i wanna see what hes gonna bring next year, still not sure i like the move but like you said its only 1 year and the guy has dominated the KHL the last half decade and hes still got some good years left... |

If the Habs manage to stay healthy this year, they could surprise a few haters. |

There in lies the kerfuffle. Say that about everybody, especially one that relies heavily on their Goalie. |

Not much. Gonna head out for a drive this afternoon, probably to Hopewell Rocks again.
Can't spend much time in the Canucks thread because too many idiots think Benning is a demigod. |

What an idiot !!! What are you going to say come December when the Habs are at the bottom of the standings and Bergy his Foxhole Buddy Sait Rien and their lover DD is no longer with them because of the utter destruction these 3 have been causing all the while Bergy being a LIAR and phony , I was ecstatic when he was hired , that tempered when he hired stupid as a coach and has now culminated with his trading a generational talent for a fading star who has lost a step ... You can like it I don't and I 've been a Hab fan longer than you've been alive , and anyone else who has been, will say exactly the same thing BERGY IS A FRAUD ... - toneez
The foxhole stuff must be the most stupid and annoying thing that has come up from twitter in the last year.

Ok, something has gotta give here...I get it's a 2 way contract, but why more D, unless someone is on the way out? |

The way I see it NHL teams usually use 8 D during a season. |

I am sure they are trying to move Emelin, so its probably just stock piling guys that can be put in the AHL if you don't find a trade for him |

They often use more than 8 throughout the whole year but usually dont have 8 signed to one way deals |

Whoever ends up in the AHL or gets claimed won't affect the Habs cap situation, unless they plan on keeping 8 of them up. |

Emelin or Beaulieu gets traded or Pateryn, Barbeiro or Redmond goes on waivers at the end of camp, i dont believe they can keep 8 Ds up as they also have too many F on one way deals and thats excluding McCarron, Scherback, Hudon and De La Rose |
