They are friends who train together, but it's not like they were having sleep overs at age 10 because Jack was 6 or 7 at the time.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Jack and Jimmy have known each other for a while. Just because there is an age difference doesnt mean they arent close. Also not everyones childhood best friend is their adult best friend. Jack and Jimmy have played on the same line in summer leagues the past four years and have played with and against eachother in many games and tournaments.

Asplund is a center as well and I think he'll be over next year regardless of if he plays her or in Rochester. We may need Nylander to play LW. I don't know if he can or not but the top two RW slots are locked in for pretty much the next six years in Okposo and Reinhart. Then if you have Bailey as your 3rd line RW it leaves Fasching and Nylander kind of out of the loop. Ideally with no FA moves or trades. I think the line up could look like this in two years after Kane leaves

Fowler is very overrated, and not the D I want to overpay for. He's a decent top 4 but not really much of an upgrade over McCabe.

Agreed. We need a solid, stable NHL roster which is coming together and then we need to pull a detroit and let our prospects dominate the AHL for 2-3 years before they come in to replace over-priced guys.
