I keep pointing to Marvin Lewis and Cinci. And there's not a Bills fan out there that wouldn't take the Bengals last 10 years over the Bills last 10 years. The Bengals have gotten extremely unlucky to lose a few of those playoff games. Carson Palmer's knee gets rekt on like the first play of the game. Last year's cluster (frank) of an ending. And a few in between. At least they have playoff stories from the last 17 years. The Bills probably have some epic beach stories.

Not entirely. They can still come to terms before the hearing in which case they can be traded. But not for a year after the team agrees to the arbitrator's ruling(maybe it's the first day of the next league year, whichever). Obviously if they don't the player is a UFA.

I think he could get away with 8-8 or 7-9 as long as the defense improves drastically (like top 10). Can't keep hanging your hat on how good of a defensive coach you are and then take a top 5 ranked defense and put it into bottom 5 in the league. Guy has never won anything and is sub .500 lifetime. Only so many excuses...

There are a few. But he's also better than Risto in a few as well. We went over this during the season. That one number is real bad, I think he's worst or 2nd worst in the league, I can't for the life of me remember which stat it was. But it's just one number.
