Meyers, his celery and the Staff Infection will always be better. Always. - TheSabresTaco
I was a huge Kane Supporter, but 35 points is not going to cut it.
He needs to be putting up 50+ points. Is it ok for me to criticize him for being Drew Stafford, who we couldn't get rid of fast enough?
Points
Stafford - 38
Kane - 35
Points/60
Stafford - 1.64
Kane - 1.54
Points per game

Seems the only difference I notice is Kane is more noticeable on the ice and Staff
went invisible for long stretches.

I'm waiting for the other shoe - TheSabresTaco
No other shoe. I usually don't randomly bring it up. I respond to others. But since we are on the subject..... Here are some players who scored more than our bad boy
Blake Comeau
Jaime McGinn
Troy Brouwer
Ales Hemsky
Antoine Vermette
Kris Versteeg
Matt Beleskey
Zack Smith
Leo Komarov
Career 3rd liners.....But hey as long as he produces |

35 points. Marcus Foligno would be impressed
Seriously, I get people that want to keep Kane around. But call a spade a spade. In 18 months he's been a complete dud so far - sbroads24
He was coming off surgery , new coach , new teammates , new system. Damn . Put your pitchfork away. It is getting old.

Some days i have a tough time deciding who supports the team more... half the regulars or the leaf trolls that climb out from under their bridge to lob salt our way. |

It's not ragging on the team so much as this team has lost the benefit of the doubt in a lot of fans' eyes. They haven't made the playoffs in five years, and missed them 7 out of the past 9. Yes, at least two of them you can say were intentional, but the fact is, unless you're coming off a dynasty where your best players are old and retired, you've made a lot of incompetent decisions to force your team to bottom out. While they do seem to have a plan in place now, nobody is going to be happy until they start to see tangible results in the win column, nor should anyone be.
Right now, I do like Tim Murray as a General Manager, but the fact is, he's never held this position before at the NHL level. If putting blind trust in a guy with an established resume can turn into a mistake (as it has in the past), then a rookie GM certainly deserves scrutiny as well. It's what he gets paid for.
The same goes for the Bills as well. |

It's the teams that don't know how to win that tend to make them. |

*** refuses to consult Urban Dictionary for "panus" *** - Der Kaiser
He was either talking about a pannus (also called an abdominal apron), which is a flap of excess skin, fat and tissue at the bottom of the abdomen.
Or he actually meant panus, which is a genus of fungi in the family Meruliaceae.
I'm going with option number 2. |

This is horsepoop.
You can either be excited about what's going on with the Sabres organization, or you can sit back and rag. The franchise that lost the benefit of your doubt by missing the playoffs 7 of the last 9 years has been completely overhauled, is long gone, and we're heading in the opposite direction.
But you just hold on to all that negativity, and have a wank into a tissue of your (frank)ing doubt, you nattering nabob of negativity.

Rum is brown... the good type anyways so ill accept this
But i don't understand the constant ragging on Kane for example... the entire trade that acquired him was meant for the simple purpose of clearing out space and keeping us down. Sure crap was said like once he's healed he could be a top 6 blah blah and maybe he could. But I don't believe that was said in honest, I believed we grabbed im for what was left on his contract and then we were going to watch him go or even trade him before hand.
But nope lets sit here and say the same things over and over and over again, and how he doesn't compare to this guy and jesus he didn't score a single point the first 6 months he was here (you know while he wasn't skating and all) blah blah |
