But i don't understand the constant ragging on Kane for example... the entire trade that acquired him was meant for the simple purpose of clearing out space and keeping us down. Sure crap was said like once he's healed he could be a top 6 blah blah and maybe he could. But I don't believe that was said in honest, I believed we grabbed im for what was left on his contract and then we were going to watch him go or even trade him before hand.

When are people gonna let this Kane trade go ? The way I see it Bogo and Myers were a swap of Top 4 defenseman whom both play different styles of game. Looking at our defense now I like the grit the Bogo brings to this team and its needed. Stafford was an impending UFA who the team wasn't looking to bring back anyways. So essentially it was Lemieux, Armia (who right now looks like a bust) and a 1st rounder for Kane. No matter how much we cry and complain it's not gonna change. We have who we have now. Move on

Like I said, if putting blind trust in someone with a good, even great, track record can turn out to be a mistake, then a rookie GM shouldn't be without scrutiny either. That's why I don't buy into "well Murray knows him from Ottawa" or "Murray scouted him in Anaheim" as if he is the gold standard for scouting. He seems like a good one, but he has a long way to go before being considered the best at it. He proves that by results in the win column. Those aren't there yet. Until they are, I have no issue with fans being sick of the "there's always next year" mentality.

Went on cruise a couple years ago. Stopped in a Walgreen in Puerto Rico , and they had Bacardi silver and gold rum 1.75l $6.95. on the shelf next to the sunscreen. Bought 6 of them.
