Well I guess we have different opinions on what makes a player better. Maybe you love players who rack up points but I value players who make their team and the players around them better. Players that can play well in every zone. I see Mcdavid as a flashy player with a ton of skill but a lot to prove.

The hard part is not graduating from those schools - the hard part is getting in. Once you're in, it's next to impossible to fail out. The Ivy League is the home of 'the Gentleman's "C"." The thinking, as I understand it, is nobody who has achieved enough to enter an Ivy can be called a failure, and calling them average is tantamount to failure for us mere mortals.

Can also tell you I have met alot of Ivy League graduates who make people on this board seem pretty intelligent. (And we post fart and Richard jokes all day long).

I am of the belief that no good ever comes from arbitration.

Either the team wins or you win.

The team basically has to state their case as to why you should get paid less and you have to state your case as to why you should get more.

It damages relationships between player and GM.
