well the car that she had the key to was locked, so im assuming she closed the door and locked it from the outside. she took the baby for a walk right after so im thinking those keys are on someone's lawn about 5 blocks away.

i dunno ... i just never recall giving it any thought growing up. teacher had input, they used red, mostly because it contrasted sharply on the white paper/pencil markings and was easy to follow.
