Western Canada had some pretty mild winters for a couple years straight. All the bad weather was in the east.

I know, it was a joke at Garths blog title.
Although they also said M Staal's eye is a 100% and yet he hits the net with 1 out of every 30 shots.

I have yet to read about a big dollar free agent in any sport saying anything but good things about his new team or city. What do you think he was going to say? The team has no future and I don't care much for the city but Buffalo offered me the most money, so what the heck?.

Just glad I didn't have to read about how great GMTM is. You know. GMTM's "most favored nation status" with top agents. He's a "sniper", a "poacher" and "studies the market like a stock broker". Wow, if GMTM is this super great, just how good must Rutherford, Lamoriello, Bob Murray, Stan Bowman, Holland and Dean Lombardi be? They have actually been on the job for more than two years and all have won Stanley Cups.

That would probably be an improvement for KO

Not trying to trash the guy on the way out of the door. Love him as a player and hate to see him leave the Isles, but Buffalo fans should be prepared to see his absolute laser of a shot ring off the post more than you'd think the law of averages would allow.

KO always seemed like a decent guy. It will be interesting to see how he does in Buffalo away from JT.

Yep. His point totals might drop a bit without Tavares, but I don't think it'll be dramatic like Moulson. Okposo's a better player who can create his own space. Just like he's always been, I think he'll drive people crazy as he falls all over the ice when he's cold, and look unstoppable as he piles up points when he's hot.

Moulson should have given JT half his contract.

I agree though, KO is far better all around then Moulson.

KO played well under 50% of the time with JT

But he also played some of his best hockey with JT. I'm not trashing KO as I think he can be a decent player. Will just be interesting to see how he adjusts in Buffalo.

look you idiots i was referencing a point garth made last week. it's funny because the weather in Buffalo is a (frank)ing catastrophe and your dining highlights are butter mixed with hot sauce and whatever the (frank) beef on weck it.

and yes i do live in Montreal and yes the weather is an abomination here but at least im smart enough not to live in the most Arctic (frank)ing region of my country.

was it the weather or the world class dining that reeled him in?

Its currently 81 degrees in Buffalo after having been in the 90s the last 2 weeks (32 degrees C for you frenchies). Buffalo is also one of the top destination cities for food in the US. Not only diverse, the food is incredible. Tons of famous restaurants.

Pshhh Buffalo Smuffalo, it's 90 in Albany today, and the food here is..... good, at least one famous restaurant. Buffalo should just re-locate here.

Not until they make it legal for me to lounge on a park bench with my balls hanging out, I'm taking winter.

Winnipeg winters aren't so bad...I think Evander Kane went to work everyday in a track suit.

love seeing those reports some days in the winter about how it's warmer on the surface of Mars than it is in Winnipeg

He hasn't been a power forward for over 3 years now. Solid top6 RW, wouldn't want him on the ice in Double OT in the Playoffs

Speaking of weather, can you please explain how Stamkos has cold feet in the sauna known as summer in Florida?
