Going to be hard to move Ennis as of now. - SABRES 89
am of the opinion that landing Vesey at $925k will buy the sabres a full year to see how ennis is doing, to see if Moulson can get out of his slump and to see just where the likes of Girgensons, Foligno and Larsson fit into the forward mix up-front

haven't heard anything about a definite day...murray talked vaguely of this week while Vesey's agent said their open to anything...meanwhile Vesey's still playing in boston with Eichel at center and hopefully he's potting double-hat tricks over there

Nash makes perfect sense in that his contract expires in 2 years. He was hurt a lot last year, had 40 goals the year before and would be playing with a much better center than he played with in NY . 2 issues are the NMC and with his cap hit of $7+m we'd have to move at least on piece, maybe two to be under the cap and still sign our UFA. Best case senario, trade a 3rd for Nash and maybe a mid range prospect, trade girgs and a prospect for Fowler and unload franson's contract. This, I think would keep us under the cap barely. I'd keep Ennis around if possible - I think he could put up really good numbers as a 3rd liner, if he can stay healthy

Agreed.
NYR want a RD. I say work a Franson+ pick for Nash with no salary retained.

i'd rather wait another year and go after a player like Kreider who's going through the arbitration process this year and may be available next season...good ol' American boy too

Reports state that Rick Nash was seen boarding a plane out of Buffalo Int'l Airport at 4:43pm today. He was wearing a Sabres hoodie and Bills sandals. He screamed "One Buffalo" just before slamming a beer with Eichel at the bar prior to boarding the plane.
I've tried dozens and are some that are pretty darned good, like helluva, but bison it's for me - Michael Pachla
I am a Tops brand guy, and am quite happy that a chain down south (Bi-Lo) apparently has the same generic so I get the same stuff as back home when I want.

I looked up their league and they play every Wednesday, so I would assume the 2-3 days after a game would be best for taking up his time.
As of the other day, Eichel and Vesey's team was 2nd in the league in standings.
sounds like he's confident Vesey will be in the fold - Michael Pachla
I read into it as the opposite. He responded to a thread about how Vesey could affect our roster with "I wouldn't worry about Vesey." Meaning don't waste your time planning for Vesey

Meaning move on from him, he's not signing here? - turbo044
Sounded to me, that he will go to AUG 15th, I'm hoping that info is wrong but as of now, it's not. This kid can get what he wants in Buffalo but he is set on waiting.
