I don't think the goal song is meant for all you old folks in here. It is meant for the younger demographic and those who aren't that into hockey to hear something recognizable and dance to. So that basically eliminates most of KISS, Metallica, and a lot of Disturbed. Sorry fellas.

Out goal song as a whole sucks, the portion they play after a goal with 19,000 screaming fans actually works. It was the last song I would have picked but I have to say I liked it when I first heard it.

Saved, but that's a big stretch. Not only because he's so young but because he has the benefit of playing in Sweden which is a good league for him instead of Juniors. What is better for his overall development will dictate where he goes.

I think it is actually an idiotic statement. It reminds of the time that dbag Gilmour said the same thing about Robitaille. What's the point? Is he a coward because he is paid to be a commentator?

Robitaille's remark nailed it: he is paid to be a neutral commentator and didn't want to develop personal relationships with players and have his neutrality tainted.
