He's better than both.

It's all speculation but it's well known that Murray is disappointed in his off-ice antics. He is a problem child for sure but I think our leaders on this team will set a good example. It's a risk for sure but one that could only last 2 years which is when more turn over of the roster will happen anyways.

Gillis had a few good points too, like getting players to sign for far less and also finding the correct players to fill a need.
the 2011 cup wouldnt have happened without Hammer, Malholtra, Lappy, higgins, Torres and erhoff. He acquired 6 players in all. All 6 were a home run for us.

Too bad he was SO WEAK in other areas. I wish we could Mr potato head a GM together

depending on the process (which I dont recall from last exp draft how it was done) if say they were presented with a team by team basis and they took the BPA they could have say all their D and forwards by the time they reached us. (lets say if it was arranged by standings position or alphabetical)/ We have no quality goalie to expose so they'd perhaps be looked into a lesser player selection that way.

but I take it they submit the lists of all teams days ahead I would think. So they may already know who they want.

Yeah, LV will have access to team lineups and run through a number of scenario's and not just take BPA, but what works best considering they have to take 1 player from each team.

Forget Kane or Landeskog, never going to happen. Bergland or Kilhorn are two guys that I think could satisfy Bennings desire for a bit of grit and another 10-15 goals and likely available.
