That's an issue with him being a poor choice as a number two center. I'll qualify that by saying he's a good special teams guy, he's good on the face-offs, but he's not a good option 5 on 5 as a second line center.

His career high in assists is 19…..19!!! That's not what a center should be in terms of puck distribution. If McCann was still here I'd hazard a guess he'd beat that next year. Bo already beat that in his second year.

Numbers numbers numbers

Canucks were a better team with him in the lineup. On Pittsburg he played third line. He had third line wingers. Not many third liners put up great numbers. If you put him with higgns and Burrows his numbers will stink. If you put him with top 6 players his numbers get better

MAN DO I HATE NIKE CLUBS! HAHA probably just because I can't hit them.
King Cobra driver 280 yards avg straight.
Callaway 3 wood 260 avg never know where it goes though. I haven't hit it since I got my irons because I can hit my 4 iron 240 straight.
Taylormade Irons
Cleveland Wedges BOUGHT IN PALM SPRINGS LMAO
Odyssey 2 ball putter.

I don't golf often, maybe couple of times a year and I often skip years. Usually I shot in the high 80s. Yesterday I was 99! I hit probably 100 trees. Shot 81 my first time this year. I enjoy golfing but somedays I really suck.

No it's not you…Nike pretty much makes a crappy product right across the board. Sorry Nike fans...

I'm still saying they are a lottery team next year. Hopefully with better luck.

We are one 20 goal winger away from the WC spot.

He certainly makes the team better defensively, which I stated, but I still maintain he's a poopty 2nd line center option no matter who he plays with. He's just not a good passer of the puck.

Centers make wingers better, not the other way around. Positionally he's really solid, but the Canucks just don't' have the type of wingers to make him a better offensive player….just my opinion.

This is just such a myth, he's played 515 NHL games, that's a huge sample size. And no he hasn't always played as a third line guy, he's played plenty in Pittsburgh as their number two guy because Malkin has missed a bunch of time.

I went over the numbers in months past, not gonna do it again, he's just not an offensive player, bottom line. Doesn't mean he isn't any good, just means he's not a high offensive guy for a center, which makes him a poor choice for top six IMO.

I was talking about games played in VAN. He hasn't had a chance to show us anything yet.

Totally agree but maybe he doesn't play 2C and they find someone to center for him with Sutter on the wing. That's probably what they will be trying to figure out this summer, how to make the 2nd line better.

He doesn't need to, the previous 495 games tell the story. Some just don't want to accept it.

They'll be 37 when their current deal expires, 38 before the next season starts if they extend. They'll have over 1300 games and over 1000 points each by then….I think they'll be done in two years to be honest.
- LeftCoaster

I'm indifferent. If they are still producing and want to come back at a discount then why wouldn't we want them? They can anchor the second line

Accept what? Who thinks he is a number one center? He is a good player who will score 20, be responsible defensively and win some faceoffs. Every team needs a player like Sutter

Fluke injuries last year for Sutter normally he is not injury prone. He will be an impact player for us if healthy for the year.

Nice compliment about Brisebois. Stetcher and OJ have lots of potential . It is nice that the D is being fixed as we rebuild on the fly

How does someone who hits his Driver 280 yards straight and his 4 iron 240 yards straight shoot 99?
- Scooby_Doo

Before shoulder injuries i was 280 with driver & 240 with 2 iron.
Played a fade or slice as needed nicely but all holes did not play that way lol

Drives were often erratic but i scrambled like a champ at Squamish one round for a 99 with only 24 putts as my oddest round round ever. Worst driving round ever with duck hooks duffs an OB a few times.😂😂
