Looking up some Rochester guys to get an idea what the team will look like and this is what it says on Matt Donovan's wikipedia page:

Pretty much. Or a guy that can do it all and be on the 2nd pair.

I don't think we have to find Risto a partner as much as just find another guy that can score and defend and eat minutes on another pair.

If Risto is good enough all you need to find is a guy that will cover when he goes in for the pinch or makes a play offensively. Don't need a top 2 guy next to him. That's again, if he's good enough.

Still want that top 2 guy but then I would split them up and have 2 good defensive lines.

That defense... I don't know enough about who is going over or who is signed to know for sure what that's going to look like. I know Ruhwedel is gone and Guhle/Borgen both go back to their original teams. Going to be some high scoring games there. We want Ullmark to have some work, he'll definitely have it there.

Like I said, I don't know who they do/don't have. Went off of what I saw on Amerks.com and took out the ones I remembered.

Nylander I've heard everything so I'm just putting him there to make myself feel better. The forward group in this case isn't that bad. 3 decent AHL lines. They're not going to destroy but they'll get some points.

Defense is just woof.

Indeed.....Donovan is a UFA, as is Sdao & O'Dell. Leduc was dealt to Ottawa in the Varone blockbuster. Brycen Martin is turning pro this year. Should be in Roch's blueline.
