The President Trophy never meant so much as when the 'Nucks had it.

It was kinda comparable to what Randy Savage did for the IC title.

You did have a good couple years in tbe regular season and a cup finals run ....but you dominated one of the weakest divisions outside the southleast for years ...and without a cup win you can't be the best ...that's how it works

We dominated the West period. It was some good times.

When do we get a Vegas blogger on this site?

It's gonna be an awesome gig. Probably get more hits than anyone just posting about your night life in Vegas.

Winning % outside the pacific division still gave them the best record in the league. A few of key injuries derailed that team......it happens.

That team had deadly special teams ...every PK they would immediately kill 30 seconds from a kesler FO win ....the combo of a big shot in Salo with the twins down low was tough to beat ...their undoing was flopping all over the ice and whining to officials ...they stopped getting calls and the pp slowly got stagnant ...also the Bruins showed everyone how you play the twins by not giving them space

All Boston did was prove how much of a joke officiating is in the NHL. I understand how much more you get away with in the playoffs, but it was pretty bad. The hit on Raymond, the suspension on Rome, and the relentless taunting. They really proved how far you can go and somehow win. Vancouver just got beat up.

This is nonsense. The refs put their whistles away and the Canucks couldn't adjust. You could argue that it suited Boston's style of play, but the Canucks should have anticipated it. It wasn't the first time refs have adjusted how they call a game as the playoffs progres, they do it seasonally.

The Canucks couldn't adjust to a more physical game and they couldn't figure out Tim Thomas, series over.

Wasn't much to figure out - when you shoot every puck into a goalie's stomach. Go back and watch those games - the Bruins kept the Canucks to the outside, it frustrated them and they took 80% of their shots from bad angles and everything went into his gut.

Came out later that the Nucks had a lot of injuries catch up to them in the final where they didn't have the depth to win the cup. C'est la vie

Shouldn't they fire Pratt and Sekeres first for stirring the pot and always trying to get the Vancouver sports teams execs fired?

Bad press is better than no press.

Benning is going to give a big Fukk You to some non believers this year.

Same as in here , it is just talk. Do you really value the opinion of Troy from WR , or Taj or Tambir? The only way that Pratt can remain relevant is to put a fire under the listeners, otherwise he doesn't have a job.

In this case I have to disagree.
