I agree. The game yesterday was a 3-on-3, the one before was a scrimmage, and the 8 games was 8 games. His stats in the AHL after his call-up speak for themselves IMO. His larger stats show his progression. He tries hard and puts up points. I don't think he's the guy you rest the team's hopes on but he's not asked to be that guy. He's asked to be a contributor and I think he will be. If anything, with his hustle he's better than putting Girgensons in the scoring role. Bailey-Eichel-Reinhart looks a lot better than Girgensons-Eichel-Reinhart

They play different games. One is trying to work on his 2 way game and the other is more of a hound on the forecheck. Honestly both are important but one is flashier than the other. Key is to put them in the right situation to use those talents.

A line of Girgensons-Larsson-Bailey would be a female dog and a half to play against.

And the Ovechkin mentality. The high number of shots isn't the issue with Kane, it's the quality of those shots and the opportunities he passes up by not using his teammates. However, Bailey's shots I can say from memory were generally down low and were good quality chances. I liked his game a lot.
