Don't get me wrong...I'd be very happy with 20 and 30....but I think Ennis will be on the power play and being centered by either Eichel or ROR and that's my thought process as to why he can get 30...

again this is all dependent on Ennis coming back healthy

That 2nd powerplay still has skill. It's not the number 1 powerplay but that one is the juggernaut. If we get another top 6 guy then we put him in instead of Moulson but the one thing Moulson is still good at is standing near the net and putting the tap ins away. Ennis is again the x-factor but I still feel like he's the better choice than Gionta who we had out there last year

Tomato. potato. I just don't see the need to switch wings and positions of Reinhart, Moulson, and Franson but honestly it's not that big of a switch.

Maine point that I had was I don't see Ennis being with Eichel on the PP.

Gionta has done his job well here. He's helped lead the team and scored at a higher rate that I would have guessed when we got him. Hopefully he has a nice season this year and can pass the torch to ROR (my pick for captaincy).

I hate Eichel on the point

I wish they would let him set up shop like stamkos and ovechkin do, and just rip it. I feel like putting him way back at the point neutralizes that vicious shot.

To be honest I hate the line up in general without having a true top 6 LW to pair with Eichel. If we don't get Vesey I hope Murray tries for Hudler or Pirri or trades for a guy like Nash. (frank) the salary cap. He'll find a way to make it work.

I think Reinhart stays on PP#1. He scored a number of goals off of deflections/being in front last year. Great hands and vision. Maybe it comes at the expense of Kane?

You mean like when Ovechkin starts from the point?

The point of him being on the point is so that he can glide his way into the open slot and take the big shot. The problem was that Bylsma put him on the right point instead of the left side which made it awkward to set up that shot. If you watch OV and Stamkos they both take their shots coming from the right side while they're on the left. That's what Eichel needs to do this year. So that's why I want him on the left point.

I leave for a few hours to go to the gym then I see on instagram that we signed Marcus. Late to the party.
