I don't want Moulson near Eichel... Guy is slow and can't finish. Until he proves he's back to his normal self he doesn't deserve to play with him.
I hope that if we don't get Vesey Murray signs Pirri or Hudler to play LW with Eichel but Ennis could be the sleeper guy there. Still has skill and speed - bluengold12
I mean Moulson already was near them and looked fine. He played the game that he was supposed to play which was get near the net and put the puck in when there's a rebound or when they put a great pass on his tape and Jack did. If he does that I'm fine. I don't expect him to be able to join a 2 on 1 with Jack but I don't see many on this roster that are going to slot next to him and do that.
Ennis, to me, doesn't play the same game that Jack needs. Ennis wants to create with the puck and finish. Eichel does the same thing. Eichel needs a guy who will set him up which, to me, he has in Reinhart and a guy who will be able to get in position and put away the tap ins. Ennis would be better served on a different line where he can play his game and Jack can play his.
Worse than Kane. The best thing for his development is not to play in the NHL if he isn't ready and then ease him in with sheltered minutes until he get used to it. In 1 or 2 years, sure let's go with that line. I'm not sold on opening night though.

it's all up to nylander
what he makes of this offseason and training camp will determine his role if any with the big club

True. Kid could come in and demand a spot with his play which would be great.
I'm just glad we're not in the position where we have to rush the 1st round pick into playing this year. I'm ready to get to the part where we start developing these guys and pull them up and plug them in as cheap scoring threats.

Just my opinion - Zschalberg
The thing is he proved time in and time out he couldn't do that. I recall four or five times just off the top of my head where he missed incredibly easy goals that Eichel set him up with. He doesn't deserve to be on a line with the future of this team right now. Until he proves it playing on a lower line.
Fair point with Ennis I get it. That's why I thought Vanek would be perfect here. I get people hate him but he does exactly what you spoke of. Taps in goals is in the right place etc. We need someone like that to play with Eichel. Vesey is that guy. Should we not get him or sign/trade for anyone to play that spot like Pirri. Then we have to go with what we have. I believe Ennis is more capable of scoring at this stage than Moulson. They all ready tried him Girgensons and Foligno there and they all failed miserably. Give Ennis a shot there or if Nylander somehow makes the team then him
