Make sure they are mostly men in the age group from 18-30. I mean seriously, what says refugee more than men that are of fighting age. - mdw7413
Exactly, the suspect tonight was a 31 year old Tunisian. Had they of made him feel more welcome in his younger years, we could have avoided this tragedy. |

All seriousness aside, it boggles the mind to see people come to a civilized country, enjoy things like running water and electricity, and want to blow it up!
Well, I guess if you are a zealot and see the vapid stupidity of the Kardashian worshiping masses, one would want to end crass commercialism as quickly as possible.

That's the thing, until modern society comes to terms that we are fighting a set of ideas, this will continue to happen. Imagine if the US and Europe fought WWII by telling society to be accepting of Nazi or Japanese ideals or that US citizens were threatened with being called intolerant for calling someone a Nazi. This isn't a fight against a nation, the enemy has been taught to hate all things different since they were children, and we are being reminded every day to be tolerant of those viewpoints. |

Last week I watched a video from ISIS (not the band ) showing little kids training and teens executing infidels. I think I found it after talking about that with the wife. Oh yeah, I saw a twit about making official isis twits super gay, which was pretty funny, then I wanted to see what those nuts actually twitted and found training and execution videos unfiltered.
Damn, I'm probably on some watch list now. |

The hacker group Anonymous has already started doing this, the hijack ISIS affiliated Twitter accounts and replace the message with gay dating sites and porn.
The world has become way to black and white. On one side you have a maniac wanting to deport every immigrant from certain countries, on the other you have people who are saying that you are intolerant if you believe taking thousands of refugees from war torn countries in and just letting them loose is a bad idea.
There were plenty of European journalists who were writing that the refugee crisis is the greatest Trojan Horse of all time. And those writers were shouted down and branded intolerant and threatened with legal action for hate speech.
How can people continue to be this dumb? |

I forgot it was Anonymous. Brilliant!
I've been following the Guardian feed. https://www.theguardian.c...enade-des-anglais-vehicle
There was an article on that feed quoting both Corporate Party front runners that echoes what you said. Xenophobia and Tolerance.
This site is the only social media I am on, but follow a few others, such as Erwan LeCorre, the founder of MovNat who is a naturalized citizen originally from Nice.
He has been all over this issue for a while. Thanks for the coverage Corporate Media. |

See what happens when you don't chew Big Red?
Net Neutrality at it's finest. I have to put on my tin foil hat now.
How is that refugee situation working out in Germany? Not too well. Overpopulation in the centers and the loss of local jobs to refugees, and who can blame them?
Of course refugees need asylum from the horrors they have escaped from. I won't question that. I could never imagine the trauma of having to flee your home and trek hundreds of miles to escape the atrocities perpetrated on the local population. There lies the problem of vetting the refugees. Camps are also hell, but the EU open border policy is akin to an open floodgate allowing anyone into your country, creating enclaves of ethnic groups that don't want to assimilate. Not too different from what we have in this country.
I realize I am probably coming off as a xenophobe, but I am trying to look at these issues from both sides while venting my frustration with the current state of world affairs. You guys are just the unfortunate bastards taking the brunt of my frustration.
Now, about that CK20 kid... |

I don't think what you said is Xenophobic at all. Saying "deport all muslims" is xenophobic.
The idea of being compassionate, but still having some sense of self preservation shouldn't be mutually exclusive.

hey, morning guys
I am happy with the JT Miller deal, I saw a lot of negativity about it on twitter, mostly that the Rangers never ever get their young players locked up long term, but the reality is that this team needs one of their top 6 forwards at 2.75 million a year the next two years.
There isn't anyway around it, and there isn't any use to complain about the bad contracts that the team has and blame it on them on a constant basis.
They aren't in any position to pay JT Miller a contract between 4-5 mil a year and Chris Kreider 4-5 million a year as well.
By the way, what team has won a Cup recently that locks up it's young players long term anyway?
Edmonton? Florida, Colorado?
Pittsburgh has done it once recently, with Maatta and that actually looks like one of their few bad moves.

Miller's contract will be up the same time Nash's ends. IF he is due a big raise, the cash will be available. |

I like JT Miller playing hungry for a big pay day the next two years, he'll be an animal.
I actually think he's a little immature yet to be locked up long term.

Reading Miller's comments last night he seemed pretty happy. He even mentioned after next season the ability to look at a long term deal next summer again. He is def gonna go big this year |

Miller seemed to grow up a bit last season. Now that he has a taste of the big time, he's going to have the fire in his belly.
Someone needs to make a Miller fire breathing pic. |
