That's for wiping up Kreider, right? |

I've just been thinking about the numbers a bit, and he has seasons with 17, 21, and 21 goals in the last 3 years. He's established a floor for himself and still has a higher ceiling. Plus his season was pretty abysmal last year...rock bottom almost. And he still scored 21, so 30+ is definitely a possibility if things click for him this year.
It's less of a risk than Miller because Millers only had 1 good season, although I do believe Miller will continue to take steps forward in his development. |

Girardi and Staal are going to have bounce back seasons, Kreider will breakout and score 30, the more I read the moaning the more I believe in this |

We all said the exact same thing the year before last. |

Yea, but what I'm saying is that he's established a high floor. It's a safe bet he'll pot at least 20 each year. If you look at the going rate for a guy like that, 4.5ish seems pretty damn fair long term. I'd be willing to go up to 5 because he still has some untapped potential. |

Yeah but realistically what has he shown that he will get better? I was even defending him the year before last saying his grandfathers death probably affected him more than we know. Whats last years excuse? I just see a guy who will not give a consistent effort throughout the season. I hope he proves me wrong. |

Doesn't matter if he improves or not. $4.5M is the going rate for a 20 goal scorer. Give him that and it's fair. If he produces more then that's gravy. |

What do you think a realistic return for Kreider would be? - rangerdanger94
I think he would have significant value on the market. His floor going foward looks to be 20 goals and his combination of size, speed and strength is unique. I can't think of another player that possesses all 3 the way he does. Teams would be willing to pay if they knew they could lock him up for the next 5-6 years. I know we've all been frustrated with him, but hopefully he can put it all together and give us 25-30 on a constant basis. I believe both he and Miller will be 25-30 goal guys for us for the next 5+ years. If he is traded it better involve someone named Draisitl coming back, but I do think trading him is a big mistake. |

As stupid as this sounds,I think he's afraid to take penalties bc of his size and strength. He stuck his butt out at a guy and got called for interference I believe it was. The whole goalie thing which he unfairly is targeted for, I wonder if the league hasn't said something to him in regards to that. |

Hmm I think Draisatl's value is in another universe compared to Kreider.
I think a realistic return for Kreider is a young player with top 6 upside who could use a change of scenery. Evander Kane for example or maybe someone like a Abdelkader, Niederreiter, or Silfverberg. I don't think you'll get Draiasatl, Duchene, or anything even close to that without including another significant piece. |

If thats the case, then he should quit or grow a set of balls. Still doesn't fix his stone hands. |

If that is the case, then we need to move on. We don't need a head case afraid to take the body or crash the net. |

Wanna know something that really sucks?
At age 20, Anthony Duclair scored more points than Kreider or Miller did at ages 25 and 23.
Duclair is gonna be a god damn beast at the age Kreider is now. |

U must have missed all my Draisitl threads. Yes, Draisitl is worth more than Kreider |
