You only need it on a plane. I lost mine in St. Vincent de Paul and was freaking out. I traced back all my steps and a cop had it.

We have an essentially open border, entire cities are declared "sanctuaries", and the director of the FBI himself has stated there is no way to properly screen the Syrian refugees due to conditions in their home country. You are effectively making two arguments against your own orthodoxy, which is..kind of funny.

The Director of the FBI, I am sure, was aware of the length of the screening process when he explicitly stated that those refugees cannot be properly screened.

That was an extremely poor argument, agreed. He did more harm to his own position than you ever could with that single statement. I agree that "racist, sexist, and bigoted remarks" should be subjected to the derision they deserve. Where we probably diverge is the methods we employ to stop them. Most "Progressives" would engage in thought policing through legislation, I don't believe in the suppression of opinions via governmental force, but once voiced these opinions should experience the mockery they deserve.
