Except for Kane it's been quite, doubt he moves him but if he does it won't be until he hears everything. Doesn't make sense to move him now, i'm sure the meeting with the brass he is going to have will be coming very soon after he handles his affairs.

I heard Girgensons and Fasching for Folwer + last week but that was nothing set in stone just something that was mentioned.

Murray and CO were pretty much handing Vesey the opportunity he wanted but he still wants to wait until the 15th. The only for sure thing with him is that he will wait unless by some chance he changes his mind but I doubt it.


For the record, Big Z got 3 strikes that people know about and was traded for less then what Kane has done. I was told they don't want to move Kane as of now until all the facts and info come in.

The reason the Edmonton Buffalo contest isn't on NBC national broadcasts is because it really isn't about Canadian markets.

The Habs will play 4 times and the Leafs will play 1 time. There are no other Canadian teams playing a single game.

Edmonton games at Chicago, NYR, Wash & Pitt should all be on National tv here in the US
If Philly & Boston were better,

Although Tampa & Florida are good teams, either of them vs Edm wouldn't get good ratings

It's all about the ratings. People can watch McDavid on CenterIce if they wish.

I still see no reason to have the Habs on four times. Not like they'll attract ratings.

Yeah, at first when I looked it up I was expecting the reason BUF/EDM wasn't a game is because 0 canadian teams would play on NBC national broadcast. Which kind of makes sense because it's for the USA.

The ONE Leaf game is going to be the Red Wings vs Leafs game on January 1st which is called the "Centennial ....." because it's TO's 100 year anniversary. It's an outdoor game in Toronto.

I'm not sure WTF is up with the 4 Montreal games.

There are things I can think of. MTL and TOR and have the biggest international(so USA) fan bases. They also have the biggest fan bases in total.

TOR will not be making the playoffs next year. In fact, even though many young Canadian teams are up and coming...the truth is MTL is probably the canadian team with the best chance of going anywhere THIS SEASON!(hold on....

...okay, I'm back. I had to vomit after I just said Habs are the best Canadian team...but remember it's only for THIS season.
