I would suggest bringing a medium size cooler, put the liquids and perishable meats in the cooler with a small amount of ice if need be, put the non perishables in your carry on suitcase.
Wrap duck tape around the cooler to secure the lid and check it down below, carry on the other bag with the non perishables including breads or pizza
I work for Delta "22 years" ... Trust me |

Why is 22 years in quotes? It still has to cost a lot for the bag fee to check the cooler. That's what I'm saying. Unless you go Southwest do they still do first bag's free?
Edit: Just looked it's "only" $25 for first bag. I thought it was more. It should be free, but that's another topic. |

I dont know dude. A 12 pack of frozen mighty is pushing 50 bucks in shipping charges.
You use southwest, you get two bags free, up to 50 pounds each. |

22 years flying experience bro..
I've been there and done that quite a few times.
I really don't give a F*** what Jr. or anyone else does but I thought I would give my 2cents about flying with food from home.
and I believe you can check 1 and carry 1 at no additional cost... I may be wrong |

Delta is the same... 50 pounds max on checked bags
No weight limit on carry on, just restricted on size of course |

You're providing good advice. And if a person flies southwest, they're golden.
I've gone on trips where people from all over the country fly in to one city and go camping. I check a cooler packed with my camping gear as one bag. The second bag is clothes and smaller tools, etc.
Works like a charm and i dont have to buy a styrofoam cooler.

In our crazy security world I'd think something wrapped in duct tape would raise a red flag, no? |

Skip the duct tape and just use a nylon strap or something. As long as they can open it, its cool.

I was just wondering why it was in quotes that's all. I wasn't being negative. Usually when you put something in quotes on the internet it means you're being sarcastic. It's $25 for the first checked and $35 for the second, which is absurd, but is what it is. Carry on is free, or at least it was the last time I flew on Delta like 5 years ago. I know they've(the entire industry) been adding fees like crazy, but I think charging for 1 carry on would be the tipping point. |

That's why they scan the bags with X-rays. Not that that means anything because like 90% of stuff gets through anyway. |

It doesnt surprise me. Murray was smart enough to get some prospects and picks back in those trades. I think we have a decent tiered system set up. It appears theres a candidate or two to replace expiring contracts as they fall off the books.
Everyone who was crying that the "cupboard is bare" were doing it over Armia, Lemiux, grigo, zadorov and the 1st for lehner. None of those guys are doing anything of signifigant value for their respective teams right now.
We got players for those guys. Some are ok, some are oft injured, some are idiots, but we got players we could put on the ice the first game of the season last year.
Thats what we needed to do.
Plus we got eichel and reinhart.
Im totally happy with Murray's progress. He's doing exactly what he said he would do and he's clearing out absolutely everything darcy did, which makes total sense. - seedy
Armia (23), Lemieux (20), grigo (22), zadorov (21), but you forgot compher (21)
Not to be a hardass or anything but these guys are as young as they can be and are cracking or about to crack their NHL rosters full time so you can't really discredit what they have done so far
Granted Kane (24) ROR (25) Bogo (26) Lehner (24) are not old guys either, but you can't discredit the younger pieces, it wasn't trade for guys who are at the same NHL experience level.
If anything Murray moved out a glut of prospects for ready now guys, cupboards are a little barer now but this wasn't for 30 year old moves, |

I honestly wasn't that impressed with it, but I did like how bad ass they are trying to make Aqua Man. Slamming a bottle of booze before walking into some waves. I can get behind that
The flash batman scene in it..really killed the trailer for me, was too long. I liked the wonder woman trailer, that looks like it has promise |

Can't stand when customers call questioning a $25 charge on their bank account from Delta Sonic when they were not even in town.
It says "Delta". It is your baggage check fee. |

Wrong.. Straps come undone, get caught up in the bag belt system and sometimes break. Duct tape will not.
They won't ask you to open it if you check it |

I was a college radio DJ when Chronic Town was released.
The first time I saw REM I took my little brother and he sat on the edge of the stage.
In 1984, I interviewed Michael Stipe for about 30 minutes on WUSO 89.1 in Ohio when the band came to our college for a show iwarming up for the Fables of the Reconstruction tour. In the mid and late 80's I followed them like some of my other friends followed the Dead. The first time I gave a woman a wedding ring we were in Toronto to see one of their shows.
And after Grren, they started playing the Shiny Happy stuff and I felt like I lost a very good friend. |

That is great.
Never could find Chronic Town on CD to replace my cassette.
I only saw them once at The Aud for the Green tour, so I am jealous that you saw them before that. Sounds like we both left them at the same time.
My high school year book quote was from "I Believe". |
