Armia (23), Lemieux (20), grigo (22), zadorov (21), but you forgot compher (21)

Not to be a hardass or anything but these guys are as young as they can be and are cracking or about to crack their NHL rosters full time so you can't really discredit what they have done so far

Granted Kane (24) ROR (25) Bogo (26) Lehner (24) are not old guys either, but you can't discredit the younger pieces, it wasn't trade for guys who are at the same NHL experience level.

If anything Murray moved out a glut of prospects for ready now guys, cupboards are a little barer now but this wasn't for 30 year old moves,

- DDM-Coga

We're actually agreeing, just saying it differently.
Murray didnt have time for the prospects he inherited to develop and succeed.
But everybody bugged out because he traded them. If he didnt trade them, we would have Jack and sam and a team of scrubs waiting for those guys to develop in to NHL players. I in no way shape or form expect them to be NHL players right now, i just dont know what the "cupboard is empty" people expected to happen if we didnt trade them for ready NHL roster players.

If you don't like it I apologize I've disappointed you, and I'll try not to do it again.

(See a difference?)

LOL! I do!
But your posts often make me laugh, while gerbe's make me cringe and fear the future.

Wrong.. Straps come undone, get caught up in the bag belt system and sometimes break. Duct tape will not.
They won't ask you to open it if you check it

- 22sabresQ

Whats the deal with all the people that put luggage straps on their checked bags then? Are those what you mean?
And TSA DEFINITELY goes through checked baggage. They have nothing to do with the ticket counter. I would just want to have something they could easily open and close, rather than have them mangle my duct tape job and have the cooler open in the cargo hold with all my stuff in it.
And yeah. Its July on hockeybuzz. What else do we have to talk about?

If you have weird poop in your luggage they definitely will open it, and if you have a lot of liquids, like say 5 32 oz bottles of Chiavetta's they probably will too. It might be a bomb!

They made my cousin open his checked bag at Frankfurt and Dulles because he had a bunch of beer steins in there all rolled up in his shirts because he didn't want them to break. They made him open it in Frankfurt and they almost detained him too because he bought a pop rivet gun and put it in his carry on bag. I tried to tell him not to, and I told him not to say gun, just say it's a tool, but he did. They knew we were traveling together because I stopped and waited for him, but I was never even glanced at which I thought was odd because I too, had some beer steins. And magically he was pulled aside at every airport and checkpoint we were at. Frankfurt three times, once at the ticket counter with the X-Ray, then again at security before the gates(where his pop rivet gun was taken away) and then as we were waiting for our flight on a "random check", Heathrow, and Dulles he was given extra scrutiny at customs and both his bags were checked twice, once at customs and the other at security. Not Buffalo because we weren't traveling on.

A lot of people put stuff on their luggage mainly to tell it apart.

Anyone have any show recommendations? The main shows I've watched these last few months are The Walking Dead, The 100, Game of Thrones, Black Sails, and Hell on Wheels.

I'm going to miss Hell on Wheels ! Decent show, sad it's over. Seems we like similar shows. Here's what I watch and recommend :

Halt and Catch Fire (starts back up in August)
The Strain (starts back up in August)
Humans (second season should be starting early next year ?)
Preacher (season 1 on now on AMC. GREAT show)
Better Call Saul
American Horror Show
You're the Worst
Man Seeking Woman
Mr Robot (season 2 just started up, best show on TV)
The Americans (GREAT show - a few seasons in now)

Mr Robot is really good. If you want some lighter faire then Archer, Veep and Silicon Valley are very funny, Vice Principals is also really good, but there's only been one episode so far. On the action front there's Strike Back that was on Cinemax. Justified was a really good show on FX and if you have mail netflix you can get it on DVD. And there are other, slightly more nefarious ways to watch as well.

Yeah, I just can't get into them. The movies are ok, because it's only a 2 hour deal.

I remember all those games where we came so close to winning, but didn't. Hopefully this year we'll end up on a better end of those games.
- chilliard77

I remember all the games we should have lost but won costing us a top 3 pick.

Now you know why McDavid had that "Oh my God, anywhere but Edmonton" look on his face at the Lottery selection. The NHL does not know how to tout it's superstars and never will, they cater to the big cities, really? Chicago 21 times? what a joke. McDavid won't get National exposure until he becomes a UFA and signs with the Rangers, then the NHL will roll out it's newest superstar 7 years into his career.
- macman9

McDavid won't spend a minute longer in EDM than his current contract calls for.

First two seasons of Bosch are awesome. From Amazon's streaming service but are available to dl from tpb too. 10 episode seasons and based on the best selling detective novels by Michael Connelly. really well done.

I'm not in the business of rooting for losses.
