Too bad Enroth signed in LaffMountain
I wonder what TPegs and Murray are going to say and do with K*ne. (Censored b/c this isn't a K*ne post)
I wonder how that Risto contract negotiation is coming along. 5 mil? 6 mil? Doesn't sound like it'll be a bridge. Hoping for 5.3x6. Most of the young guys did not receive max term.
Where does Girgensons play next year? What position, line or even what team? I fully believe once he's utilized correctly, he'll be a much better player. 4th line C this year? Or does that go to Cal?
This Rick Nash thing is all smoke and mirrors.
Meyers is worse than Bagoshun - TheSabresTaco
Are we thinking that everything we're doing hinges on what happens with Vesey? No player is in arbitration so we don't have to wait for that. You would think we would have made our move with Girgensons by now otherwise, right? Whether we lose him or keep him I don't like waiting until the 11th hour for our move. |

Was hoping this would have subsided by now. Main thing I take from each election year is people alays make it sound like this is the most important one ever and that one of the candiates is Lucifer and Hitler's offspring. Neither candidate is that bad and the best part is that we have a system in place that no president has too much power to do anything huge.
We'll be fine. If you've already picked a side then there's no reason to talk about it. You're not going to sway someone from left to right or right to left if they've already made their mind up. If you're in the middle this is not the place to get your information.
We'll be fine. - Zschalberg

Everybody seems to forget that Staff was UFA and the contract was only good for 4 months when we got rid of it.
so to really measure the deal you can't just look at the players you have to look at the contracts. |

It's just nostalgia, it probably tastes like ass, but I must find out for myself of course.

Also there is something to be said about having a guy on your team who disappears on the ice fairly regularly (Staff) vs a guy who skates like a madman all the time (Kane).
Also, off the ice Id rather we have to deal with Kane's legal trouble >>>> Stafford in Sabres Unpucked. |

I'd say he gets $6M for 5, but its all sort of slicing baloney at this point.
No matter how you slice it, it's still baloney, and there's still two sides. |

I still don't see why he's getting more than Klinberg or Reilly when he's not much better, if better at all, than those two. Even this year he showed he was good at times and then poor at others. He needs a partner to help him with that consistency.
I don't really care that much and I expect him to get 5.5+, just saying it's not like he's been some great shut down defenseman or great point getter. He's been good. |

He doesn't deserve it, but if it means locking him up an extra 2 or 3 years by giving him 500k-1m more I'd do it. |

Realistically though it'll be a 7 year deal so he hits UFA at 28 and gets another huge deal before he ends his career. I'm hoping for the 8 year deal myself. |
