They are one top 6 forward away - VANTEL
A number 1C away imo. Unless Bo proves us wrong next year. |

How do they not need a defenseman? I'm sure they do... probably not Sbisa but it's Tuesday so bugger off. - WhatTheNuck
A Sbisa & Hansen would help a bunch.
Not saying its a trade but it is my take on Buffalo.
Sabres would prolly protect 8 players & expose Moulson |

Linden was quite specific today talking about how he thinks Center and Goaltending are the teams strong points.
When asked about extending the twins , he commented, you never know what they will do year to year but we would love to have them. I think you have 4 years |

We need someone other than Sedin line to make a huge leap.
Is that Sven or Bo or JV or Hutton idk.
Boeser will be a big help down the road but i want a breakout season from a current player. |

there is a full pitcher just out of frame...
I think we are headed in the right direction, draft and develop is the process. |

There is nothing sexy about our roster on paper. Luckily the game isn't played on paper. |

I am thinking we r 1-2 good drafts away from a position of strength.
I don't see a blockbuster deal in the cards anytime soon.
The TDL prolly not a big date for us this year.
Offseason almost anything could happen with LV drafting.
Cap space could come in very handy. |

I am not sure he is as bad as some are making him out to be.
Don Hay his former coach said he is a nice guy. Moj who knows him says the same. Yesterday when I seen him he looked like a happy young man who was very happy being here.
Does he have a problem with liquor? You bet he does.
If you are a young kid now 24 and have lived in Atlanta Winnipeg and Buffalo, what are you going to do in your spare time with very few friends or family. The dude can't handle his booze , no doubt about it. He becomes an idiot. I think this last wake up call for him. He has been seen recently , practicing in Richmond, eating pizza, shopping for salmon with his fiancé.
This is all normal life stuff. I think Vancouver would do him a world of good and he would do the Canucks a world of good. - VANTEL
Agreed, Kane and VAN both need a break. I suggested the Canuck's wouldn't make the playoffs this year. Kane makes me rethink that. Is it the right move? It is if you want to sell a whack of season ticket packages this Summer. You know FA has to have his nose in this one.

BUFF Can i'll afford to look foolish with Kane, Van doesn't have assets. Rule out next years high draft picks. Roster players? Sure. What will make this deal happen? Future's that will make VAN cringe should he clean his act up, and get back on track. Win/Win |

Why would we give up too much? Wait two years get him for free. This would give him plenty of time to get his affairs in order. Etem Gaunce and a second , no more. |

I am guessing we will at some point see the Bo Sven Eriksson line, I just hope they click and it is a no brainer to keep it intact - hillbillydeluxe
IF it happens it will be the result of an injury to one if not both of the Sedins. Can't see Eriksson off the Sedin line for at the very least a full first season. |

Kane's agent hopefully has the green light to broker a deal, ala Loungo. |

I don't think anyone is giving up a lot. There are just too many things that can go wrong.
You can't give up a Boeser or Virtanen , your fan base would roast you.
A first round pick is too high.
It has to be a second round pick and a project player. There won't be a RNH traded for him.
Benning said he wants to insulate Sven so I doubt he is sent the other way. |

I'm all over the place on this.
Vrbata was told he'd play with the Sedins and didn't last a whole season. and yes, Eriksson is not Vrbata. but what are these guys promised?
WD decides the lnes. is it just him or is it part of the management group or is it a different dynamic where WD takes the input and decides for himself? and then when it comes to the Sedins, how much input do they have? maybe a little more than players should?
Maybe Eriksson will start and end most games with the Sedins but might get shuffled around to mix it up or because of whatever in game situation- after a pk/pp or whatever.
Eriksson signed for 6 seasons is going to see a few different line mates. |

I think it was only a thought Vrbata was with the Sedins year 2.
Eriksson is a better all around player & better proven.
Eriksson without Hank is better than Vrbata without Hank. |
