Yes, I listened to Kuzma on TSN 1040 yesterday with Sekeres and it sure sounded to me like the Canucks will do more than kick the tires on Kane. It appears that Benning and Murray have at least talked.

Stamkos gave a pretty hefty hometown discount. And by hometown I mean the team that drafts a player and he subsequently plays for them his entire career up to that point.

I would've loved to offer-sheet Kucherov. The main problem is that, ok we offer him a deal, the other team has a week to match. In the meantime Okposo signs elsewhere because we can't afford both, and if Tampa matches we're left with no one. That's the inherent flaw with offer sheeting a big name RFA. If it was only like 48 hours, maybe, maybe you could get a guy to hold off, but a week is a long time. And all the other teams you'd want to go to will make other deals, and you'll be stuck with offers from Arizona and Winnipeg.

It was on GR. Vancouver beat reporter said that ownership loves Kane and Benning likes him, also said they absolutely are in on Kane . Then Linden was interviewed and was talking about how they want "uncivilized" players in there locker rooms. It was a bizarre interview but they were basically talking about Kane without mentioning him specifically

I was just listening to GR Bulldog wants to trade Kane for nothing right now and doesn't care about if it affects us winning or making the playoffs.... surprisingly Schopp said he'd feel more comfortable about it if we got Vesey. PC Bulldog said he doesn't know if it would be as honorable as just trading him even if we didn't get Vesey...
