That's pretty funny.

I know I'll get flamed for even thinking this, but The Greatest Game Ever Played was a decent movie. I won't even speak the star's name, but it was before he was a super douche. He was still a douche, just not post ultra-fame douche.

Hey! That's the Crosby Braverman dude from Parenthood TV show that makes me cry when I watch it.

They help destroy silly narratives. Like Toews is better than Crosby, or Erik Karlsson isn't that great.

Some cherry pick stats (I'm guilty of it) or make bizarre conclusions based on them like James Tanner does. But they are useful

Reggie Bush and Fred Jackson have nearly identical numbers

Good call on Parenthood. Him and Kristen Bell are probably the best Hollywood couple ever.

Just saying that stats don't show what a person can bring to a team. Crosby vs Toews is a bad argument. Crosby may be the best player in the game right now, but I would rather have Toews.

Bills have reportedly made an offer to Reggie Bush, but Fred Jackson is still out there. Sure Bush is younger (4 years), but bringing Freddy back would cost less, bring a familiar veteran leadership element and a with Buffalo fans could take away a lot of negative press the teams have been receiving.
If only for a filler/back up spot, I am pretty sure when Freddy ran on the field he would get the loudest cheers.

You're entitled to your opinion but that's insane.

If Toews had 1 less cup, or Crosby had 1 more, this is never even a debate, and easily one of those two scenarios could have happened. As soon as Pittsburgh built a quality lineup around Crosby/Malkin they won another cup, as soon as Toews and Chicago lost some great depth with Oduya and Saad they get knocked in the 1st round

Did Toews all of the sudden lose his ability to be "clutch", or is that an over rated intangible to begin with?

87 / 19 = 4.51

Sid is like four and a half times the player Toews is.

I am also the guy that would take Messier over Gretzky, Drury over Briere and Toews over Kane. Just my preference, but that's how I would build a team. Eichel over Mcdavid could be there too, time will tell.

I'm guessing it's a blue collar style you prefer? If that's your preference than hey, whatever floats the boat

Yeah, Eichel over McDavid! F McDavid. It bothered me he got the best of Eichel and Reinhart last year. Scores the first of the game, Eichel misses on a break in OT and McDavid scores on a break right after. That had to piss Eichel off! Don't have to wait too long til they play against each other again in the season this year. I hope they grow to hate each other. Maybe they'll not like playing together on the North American team. Speaking of which, I think I'm backing the North American team. How can Kessel not be on Team USA? Horse poop.

I think they're going to regret making that NA team. I don't see how they don't at least get to the semis.

I don't really get it, but Bob Ross was awesome. I watched him many times in rapt fascination. And I was stone cold sober every time. I could never understand how he could just paint like that.
