Thank you sir.
I always thought it would be winning an argument on hockeybuzz, but I realize now that is not the case |

It's actually quite sad. It was Lundqvist who impreganted her. Reimer is just a wussy so he's raising the kid as his own. |

as long as you don't count the money Carle is making from the buyout... sure! - Doc_Sarcasm
Carle can live on 2.5 mil I bet
and I had to laugh when I checked general fanager and saw Vinny will be collecting a check until 2027.
Ok I'll cry though... Bryz also until 2027 |

4. Morin, Sam (54%)
5. Rubtsov, German (79%)
6. Myers, Phil (56%)
7. Lindblom, Oskar (54%)
8. Laberge, Pascal (68%)
9. Aube-Kubel, Nicolas (63%)
10. Allison, Wade (44%) |

Excellent blog, Bill.
Over the years, I've found myself liking and respecting Ken Dryden less and less. There's no question that he is exceptionally intelligent. I think his problem is that as he has aged, he no longer questions his intelligence and simply accepts his first impression as gospel.
I have to say, for the most part (except for his take-down of the Flyers), I really enjoyed reading "The Game".
At the same time, I thought he came off as somewhat tormented and insecure, and it occurred to me that if I were building a hockey team, I might be inclined to look for a goalie who was happy-go-lucky and not overly bright. - Doc_Sarcasm
All of this.
I read "The Game" many years ago and liked it.
But Dryden has always been a smug bumhole, so this sort of article doesn't surprise me. Anytime I encounter an article or show that features Dryden's takes on anything, i just roll my eyes.
Did Dryden posit on how the 1976 Flyers beat the Russians and how the Canadians could only tie them? |

At some point you have to wonder if Hextall pulls the trigger on a deal with one of these defensive prospects for a top 6 forward prospect. I expect Rubtsov and Konecny to be two very good players but I want a top a top 10 point producer before Giroux's career is over. If it's realistic for the Penguins, Capitals, Lightning, Islanders or Stars, why not us?

The ONLY reason people like Dryden, and alot of opposing fanbases , Talk "Broad Street Bullies" Is jealousy plain and simple. Flyers had a skill level, grit, toughness and a work ethic that wasn't matched during that era !!!! |

Allison is a name I could see sky rocket up this list over the next couple years. I heard an extended interview with him after he was drafted. Has a very mature head on his shoulders and looks to have the physical tools to be an impact player.

It'd be nice for him to have a great year in college and then see him in the AHL next season. |
