The only way Disney decides to go that route will be because they can continue churning out movies saying each new main protagonist is 'the chosen one'.

But considering how the new saga practically dumped anything resembling the prequels, I doubt they even acknowledge the 'prophecy' Lucas made up in the 90s to make more money off toy sales.

He's playing the Vulture in the new Spider-Man next year. So he'll literally be Birdman again.
