I understand that, & we have the exact same issues over here with our sporting stars who can be absolute Boof heads. Unfortunately these sportspeople aren't like the Joe Blows & Neville Nobody's, they are very high profile well paid stars that have a responsibility to their employers. I don't think he should lose his ability to earn a living, just be paid less due to the stupid things he does. Hit them where it hurts & they might smarten up.

Even if it does play out that he doesn't sign with Buffalo, I still wouldn't call that a "big mistake". How many 3rd rounders turn out to be difference makers? It was worth the risk.

The Vesey move was not a mistake, it was very smart! We gave up a third round pick ( 1 of 4) for the opportunity to court a potential top 6 winger. Not sure how that's a mistake.
