I'm not sure you watched the same thing ? The visual effects were amazing the plot and story line was genius you could feel the tension between the two and why they hated each other so much. I think everyone should throw some money at this movie it was fantastic

They hated each other because superman wrecked a building (at least i understand that) and supes thought that batman was too rough (even though the only guy he ever fought he snapped his neck) the "big fight" wasn't due to that thought its because Lex (who reminded me more of riddler) blackmailed superman... it wasn't a clash of beliefs and ideals it was an orchestrated black mailing. Lois Lane was useless... Superman/Clark Kent had like NO dialogue... Doomsday was dumb. half the scenes in the movie were under 20 seconds long.
Superman can hear Lois across the world... but can't hear a bomb in a wheelchair 5 ft away... superman is arguably moodier than batman the entire movie like a 14 yr old "i got no plce in the world...."

Sure the visuals were nice... but its a Zach Zynder movie you knew you were getting that, and they aren't worth 3 yrs of over the top hype for that movie.
Editing was crap when you realize what they cut out of the theatrical release.

If there is any movie that you should watch the extended version of its the Lord of the Rings movies.

Yes they are all like 3 1/2 hours long (Return is actually near 4)...but it is 100% worth your time

Since it gave me no more Jeremy Irons as Alfred (the only character that said any lines with weight) still not worth it
