Yep, no question.

The 0 doubles is the reason for the 79, no blow up holes and kept it simple, nice pars and your short game was solid. That's what I take from it.

Seriously though that's awesome. I've only ever shot 85, but it was a no poop 85, no mulligans, or kicking the ball out from behind a tree, or gimmies. And that was at Grover. But it was during a Caddyshackesque thunderstorm complete with marble sized hail and a tornado touchdown like 15 miles away. We were stuck pretty much as far from the clubhouse as you can get, we were on 9 I think? when it started. So we just played through it.

What is the rule on hail on the green? We swept off the ball path with a bunker rake.

That's the main thing that separates the pros from the ams. Sticking your iron shots. Obviously there's more to it than that, but if you're consistently putting from 8-10 feet you'll shave a lot of shots off your game.

moveable obstruction, not part of the course. You can clear the hail away with no penalty.

My best round was 73 at Terry Hills last year from the tips. 12 pars and 3 birdies. If you're just a casual golfer and not a regular the 85 is very good.

The last time I golfed was 3 years ago(haven't been able to since due to bad back) and I shot over at the 9 hole Creekside/Evergreen near Manor Lanes. I think they've since closed. I shot a 4 over. If it's possible that "course" was even easier than Grover. At my best I was a bogey golfer.

Anyone going to watch that dumbass jump from 25,000' without a parachute and land on a net? It's on tonight at 8ET live on FOX. During testing a dummy went straight through the net. lol

the constant practice made me drop the score

each non playing day, I hit 2 buckets of balls at the range, 100 plus chips and a 100 plus putts

if the middle green is 160 yards, I will hit one of the bags of balls with 1 iron, nothing but shots at that green


each day I rotate an iron for 1 bag, use the other bag for a mixture, 5 drives, 5 3 woods, 5 hybrids, the other 50 to 60 balls various irons

I have now done this for a month, a world of difference
