I agree. It's going to be an ugly dirty election. - CubanBuffet
I'm not a big fan of Hillary but at least she's not a bigot, racist, megalomaniac, misogynist sociopath. It's mind boggling that so many Americans didn't learn their lesson from the Bush Jr debacle.
Ok, sorry, I couldn't resist throwing in my two cents worth.
Would Tanev/Hansen be enough to get Landeskog here? Might need to add a 2nd? Or do we have a 2nd to trade…lol - LordHumungous
I'd say a very fair offer considering a top D & a great contract & versatile player in Hansen. If JB likes giving up 2 good players its doable. Hate to see Hansen go though but u gotta give to get.

I'm not a fan.
But see her as the lesser of 2 evils.
Both are power and money hungry.
Trump with his bogus school scam-shady business practices, Hillary in the pocket of big business/banks.
with Hillary, being the establishment, it might be business as usual while Trump, is all over the place, if his hand is on the wheel at all. Trump could look at the job of the pres. as a part time gig/figure head position as he has others run the country while he runs his own businesses.
neither comes across as very compassionate or human.
some of the campaigning has been interesting, but I can't imagine how sick of it we will be at the end of the year.

Hey now, Bush Jr or Sr wouldn't publicly endorse the Donald.
That speaks volumes IMO

Absolutely.
It's like watching the Stanley Cup Finals when LAK or Chi make it to the finals.
You don't care about the team in the East, but anyone but those dirty, cheating, diving goons.

I'm just glad that I don't have to swallow either pill, but given a choice between the same old and a genuine crazy person, I'll stick with the same old.

although the guy is a vast source of comedic fodder, the guy is one scary individual - can you imagine a person like this having his hands on the button? *shudder*
Talk about waiting until the 11th hour. It seems like it's a good deal for both sides (the Avs get a reasonable term length at a fairly decent cap hit). Barrie reminds me a bit of a ''rover" when he is out on the ice. At times he seems to be all over the place but manages to recover due to his skating ability and overall awareness. Very talented offensively but needs work on his defense which shouldn't be that difficult to address, though

Living down here and going through the entire primary process media coverage has been pretty eye opening. It's such a crazy and corrupt system.
My roommate is a big Bernie supporter, so I get a healthy dose of anti-Hillary stuff. But to me, the choice between her and Trump is so easy. Either one professional political war-hawk who will do and say whatever she needs to to get the job, or basically Hitler v2.0 upgraded with nukes.
It's like choosing between being kicked in the balls twice, or ten times. I mean, neither is great, but two is better than ten at that stage.

And girls don't even kick that hard.
The difference between them is huge and as you say frightening. Trump is s dangerous psychopath. He has absolutely no impulse control. I'm sure he was told not to go after the family of that dead soldier but he just couldn't control himself. The idea of banning Muslims or building a wall would sound idiotic on Game of thrones let alone in a modern industrialized country.

there is a wall already built in GoT, built along the northern border to keep those people out...
